Rebecca founded Mac Aesthetics in 2011 initially alongside her NHS job as a band 6 psychiatric charge nurse where she worked on a forensic mental health inpatient ward at a well known hospital. Following the completion of her nursing degree at Leeds University, Rebecca worked in the NHS for three years before leaving in 2014 to open the first Mac Aesthetics clinic in Manchester and focus solely on her new career pathway in the aesthetics industry. In April 2015, Rebecca opened her second Mac Aesthetics clinic which is located in Birmingham.
Rebecca also went back to University in Manchester in order to sucessfully undertake the V300 non-medical prescribing qualification, making her a qualified independant prescriber with substantial pharmacological knowledge. Therefore, Rebecca is practicing aesthetics in line with the general medical council and midwifery council guidelines. Rebecca has also undertaken an NVQ in VCTC teaching and assessing and now offers bespoke Mac Aesthetics training courses for medical professionals.
Rebecca has undertaken extensive aesthetic training and is fully qualified in every procedure that the business offers. This ranges from injectable cosmetic procedures, skin treatments and intravenous therapies also as a trained phlebotomist.
Rebecca has vast knowledge and experience in her field, and is always happy to discuss personal requirements, advising each client on an individual basis.
